Denver, Colorado · City and County of Denver FY2026 Adopted Budget
Denver — the money trail
Denver is a consolidated city-and-county — one government, one budget, no separate county line (the Assessor, Sheriff, and Clerk are city departments). This is the adopted all-funds budget for 2026, $4.44 billion. The General Fund is $1.68 billion; the biggest non-General-Fund pieces are self-supporting enterprises — Denver International Airport ($789M in operations) and Wastewater. The total is shown net of about $447M in interfund transfers, so those dollars aren’t counted twice. Every figure ties to Denver’s 2026 Final Budget Book and foots to the dollar.
